Fluttershy's first ability is related Fluttershy's shyness and inability to physically fight. Season finale of season two would not fight. This ability makes Fluttershy the most important of the mane 6 to have on the battlefield to get the most out of combat abilities the pony cards have.

Fluttershy's second ability is related Fluttershy's career as a animal caretaker and kindness. IE, She loves taking care of animals and in some case like Hurricane Fluttershy she is taken of by the animals.
